Yolanda has more than nine years of experience in financial and administrative consulting at various levels of government, education, non-profit and within the private sector. She is a fiscal and grants executive with a proven track record managing processes, procedures, and staff.
In her previous position, as the Deputy Director for the DC State Commission for National and Community Service located within the Executive Office of the Mayor of Washington, DC, she was responsible for a board range of programmatic, financial oversight and management duties. Some of her successes over the past 7 years include the negotiation of competitive contacts to reduce expense from $250K-$400K, reducing cash outlay by $1.25 million, achieving post-merger synergies of $3-$4 million annually and increasing the annual operating budget from $10-$15 million.
She also has excellent skills in strategic planning, budget forecasting, and expenditures.
Yolanda is an avid Archie comic enthusiast.
